After studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, Michael Kors began as a fashion assistant in the famous Lothar company based in New York. He was 19 years old. The press quickly fell in love with him. Seduced by his talent, many people encouraged him to create his own brand. In 1981, Michael Kors started creating on his own. The Michael Kors collections now includes clothes for men and women, swimwear, sportswear, fragrances, eyewear, watches, and more. He was also the artistic director of the Celine house from 1997 to 2002.
