The german brand Hugo Boss was created in 1924. Its creator, Hugo Ferdinand Boss began in a small office in Metzingen creating a masculine collection. His son-in-law, Eugen Holly, took over the brand in 1948, the year of his death. However, the brand is a real luxury masculine brand since 1968 thanks to his sons, Jochen and Uwe Holly. In 1975, thanks to a huge success, both brothers decided to name Werner Baldessarini as Hugo Boss artistic director in 1977 and to renamed the brand “BOSS”. From this time, new lines were created as “Hugo” for business man, Boss Black, Boss Orange or “Hugo Womenswear” for the women created in 1998.
Since 2009, Kevin Lobo is the artistic director of Boss Black, Boss Selection and Boss Green. He took Ingo Wilts ‘s place, the german designer. Through his collections, Kevin Lobo illustrates the sophistication and elegance of the brand with a modern touch
