A leather goods house par excellence, Loewe created the charismatic look of a woman dressed in leather and shades of camel, taupe and brown. For nearly 170 years, Maison Loewe has been known for its approach to contemporary style. A brand that has made its mark with elegance and refinement is now recognized throughout the world. While its influence is international, it remains anchored in Madrid, where the house continues to create leather goods. With an avant-garde past, it is moving towards the future with an ambitious philosophy under the leadership of designer Jonathan Anderson.
Born in 1984 in Northern Ireland, Jonathan William Anderson studied men's ready-to-wear at the College of Fashion in London and graduated in 2005. The designer launched his first men's collection under his brand JW Anderson in 2008 and then a women's ready-to-wear line at the fashion week in London in February 2011. His style seduced and the brand met a rapid success on the Internet and in concept stores. In 2012, Jonathan Anderson created a capsule collection with Top Shop, and then won the British Fashion Award for Emerging Talent. In September 2013 LVMH invested in the capital of his brand and entrusted him with the artistic direction of Loewe.
