About the Brand
Atelier Swarovski was founded in 2007, the little sister of the great empire of Swarovski born in 1895. The name makes sense when you discover its concept. Indeed, Atelier Swarovski mimics the concept of Prêt-à-Porter: two annual jewellery collections are presented at Fashion Week. These collections are exclusive lines created in collaboration with leading names in fashion and art. Synonymous with excellence and the production of crystal, Swarovski combines their knowledge and techniques with the creative vision of artists such as Viktor & Rolf, Christopher Kane and Martin Margiela to present real technical and creative jewellery.
Since 2007, Atelier Swarovski has used big names in fashion: Hussein Chalayan, Martin Margiela and Viktor & Rolf to name a few, who have brilliantly reinterpreted the famous crystal jewellery. The brand does not forget the designers of tomorrow such as Jason Wu, Proenza Schouler, Prabal Gurung, Joseph Altuzarra and Mario Schwab who have all provided their creative vision. Atelier Swarovski succeeded in uniting different creative minds in 2011 when Joseph Altuzarra designed the Atelier Swarovski collection, and presented his pieces on models at the Mary Katranzou runway show. The architect Zaha Hadid will do the same with designer Matthew Williamson.
Autumn/Winter 2016-17 Collection
For spring-summer 2005, Atelier Swarovski has called upon the Dutch duo Viktor & Rolf who reworked the Velvet Rock line, for the occasion, entitled "Red Velvet Rock". The work of the red was presented in preview at the Haute Couture showcase in July 2014. The flocking velvet and red crystals give a successful graphic appearance on cuffs, choker and double rings in the collection. Bright red brings sensuality to these spectacular jewels. For the Core collection, Atelier Swarovski has plunged into the archives of Daniel Swarovski and proposes a new interpretation of crystals in cool summer colours.
