About the Brand
Charlotte Chesnais founded her iconic jewelry brand in 2015 after beginning her career as a stylist with some of the biggest names such as Vincent Darré at Ungaro and even Nicolas Ghesquière while he worked at Balenciaga. She presented her first collection of organic, sophisticated and structured jewelry during the Paris Fashion Week. The young French designer considers jewelry as everyday objects, strong in appearance. She charms us with her "small sculptures" made of natural materials, that she works on with delicacy. Her brand is modern and bold and reflects her passion for design and architecture.
Charlotte Chesnais left her native Sarthe for Paris at age of 17, where she trained at Studio Berçot. She began her career at Ungaro, the fashion house led by Vincent Darré. At only 19, she joined Balenciaga as an assistant to Nicolas Ghesquière who she considers her mentor and who so quickly entrusted her with artistic direction of the brand's jewelry. Now freelance, the young designer launched her iconic jewelry brand in June 2015 while she also designs jewelry for Paco Rabanne and Maiyet. She claims to be devoted to a fascination with the sixties, Serge Gainsbourg and old French films, but her world is completely modern and sophisticated.
Autumn/Winter 2016-17 Collection
Minimalist and sculptural, the first collection of Charlotte Chesnais puts vermeil and silver in orbit in a sophisticated and refined manner, all in movement. It offers rings and cuffs with graphic lines and earrings with innovative shapes like the Hook. The Parisian designer was inspired by satellite movement to create geometric earrings like the Saturn and the Galilea. Bold and inspiring, this collection has conquered the attention of the press, buyers and fashionistas.
