It was in 2003 that Laurence Dacade launched her shoe brand, in parallel to her designing activities for big names in fashion, such as Chanel. The fashion designer quickly made her name thanks to her thick heel boots and shabby chic aesthetics. Laurence Dacade shoes put the emphasis on the construction, in order to ensure comfort to those that wear them. "The shoe is not only an object made for walking but it’s also an experimental tool of freedom," she likes to repeat.
