In 2001, Stella McCartney launched her eponymous fashion house in partnership with Kering. She unveiled her first collection in Paris the same year and quickly became a with great success with celebrities who become relays for her creations. Her style is both glamorous and relaxed and the collections embrace femininity, mixing gently modernity and simplicity. A real touch of freshness! A vegetarian activist, the designer is known for advocating a world of more responsible fashion and in step with the requirements of the moment. She refuses to use leather, fur or other raw material of animal origin and uses organic cotton. Following the success of her designs, the collections grow. Today, the brand offers ready to wear clothing, a wide line of accessories, but also lingerie, eyewear and perfume.Born in 1971, Stella McCartney grew up in the English countryside near London. Quickly attracted by fashion design, she began sewing at a young age and made her debut in prestigious fashion houses. Freshly graduated from Central St Martins in 1995, she made her first steps as Artistic Director at Chloé in Paris, where she was recognized for her creativity and sense of femininity. She created her first Stella McCartney collection in 2001, and made herself a place in the world of fashion through her clear-cut opinions on the environment and animal life. After the death of her mother, she resumed activities, including activist associations against the use of fur. The stylist was awarded since the beginning of her career: The Glamour Award for best designer of the year in 2004, and even The Elle Style Award for best designer of the year in 2013."I wanted to evoke the inherent relaxation of the summer." Stella McCartney presents this new collection as a celebration of freedom and light. The nonchalant chic of Stella McCartney is reinvented this season to bring a bohemian touch. Declined in strong shades of primary and warm colors, the brand provides us with an entire directory of accessories, summery and chic.
