In 2008, New York native Pamela Love chose Brooklyn as the location for launching her eponymous jewellery brand. With an eclectic and resolutely bohemian feel, a subtle blend of the Far West and Mexican folklore, her influences come from far and wide. Inspired by her travels, by art, and by architectural motifs from around the world, Pamela Love designs powerful pieces made from recycled materials, an unusual mixture of modern urban mysticism. In 2013, she saw her work awarded the prestigious CFDA Swarovski award for accessory design. She then embarked on numerous collaborations, from Creatures of the Wind to Zadig & Voltaire, Zac Posen, JCrew, Nine West and Opening Ceremony. In 2014, she took her brand to a whole new level with the launch of "Pamela Love Fine", a collection of fine jewellery.
Born in New York in 1983, Pamela Love grew up in South Florida. After graduating from the Tisch School of the Arts in New York, she took her first steps in fashion as a stylist and artistic director. It wasn't until 2006 that she began making sterling silver jewellery out of her Brooklyn apartment. Fifteen years on and Pamela Love continues to imagine ever more unique pieces from her Manhattan studio base. Her sustainable jewellery has built up a worldwide following, and is now worn in Paris, where Pamela Love has just opened her first store.
