Collection Lanvin

The story of the Lanvin fashion house begins in 1889, when Jeanne Lanvin, a milliner barely 18 years old, opened her hat shop in Paris. In just four years, she became a success and gained an impressive reputation. But when her daughter Marguerite was born in 1897, everything changed. Inspired by her little girl, Jeanne Lanvin began to design a wardrobe for her child, which quickly attracted the attention of all the most elegant mothers. In 1908, the Lanvin house started making children's clothes, followed by a women's and young girls' department the following year. From Sport to Fur, to Homeware, Fragrances, and more, the label expanded its categories, and continued to grow.
Following the death of Jeanne Lanvin on 6 July 1946, the artistic direction was taken up by various designers, from Claude Montana to Dominique Morlotti, not forgetting the most famous, Alber Elbaz.

Though born in Marseille, it was in Paris, at Studio Berçot, that Bruno Sialelli completed his studies. Equally at home making men's and women's collections, the designer earned his stripes at Paco Rabanne, Acne Studios and Balenciaga before joining the Loewe house, where he spent two years working alongside Jonathan Anderson. In January 2019, Lanvin announced his arrival as artistic director, following the departure of Olivier Lapidus.
