Danse Lente

Danse Lente

Newcomer in fashion in 2017, Youngwon Kim quickly imposed her brand, Danse Lente, as the new reference for cool and original handbags. For the fall-winter season 2018-19, the Korean designer edited new versions of her iconic bag, the Mini Johnny, recently worn by every fashionista. For the winter, the designer also added shearling to some of her accessories, a major trend this season. The brand also offers two new bags: the Margot tote and the Phoebe Bis, an acetate version of the iconic Phoebe.

The Danse Lente label recently made its great debuts on the designer bag stage. Led by South Korean designer based in London Youngwon Kim, the inventive and affordable handbag brand is making a difference in the world of It-bags. These new luxury handbags are based on unexpected shapes, high-end materials, original and sleek details; an immediate success. Phoebe, Johnny, Lorna and Lilou are the new names to remember.

Born in South Korea, Youngwon Kim graduated from the London College of Fashion with a master's degree in shoemaking. The London-based designer then chose to create handbags, an accessory offering more freedom in shapes and sizes. Her first collection, launched in Fall-Winter 2017, has already made her famous in the world of accessory designers.
