Hayley Menzies

In 2010, after a trip to Asia, Hayley Menzies launched her eponymous label, giving new impetus to pashmina classics, combining the shawl with recycled fur and feathers. Her collections are experiencing tremendous success, and the designer subsequently developed a knit line. Her favourite place, Portobello, and her many trips abroad nourish her inspiration that she transcribes in her various models Very attentive and concerned with ethics, she turns to manufacturers that are environmentally conscious in the United Kingdom and throughout Central Europe. Quality cut materials such as Italian cashmere, merino wool, cotton blend and recycled fur to provide its models an undeniable quality. From her earliest years, the London designer developed a passion for fashion and creation. Using an old Singer sewing machine she made her first steps, before making costumes for raves in the 90s alongside her fashion studies at the London College of Fashion, she started an international modeling career and traveled around the world. The creations she wore rapidly developed into her own brand in a very English and bohemian "Portobello Girl" style. This is the first season that the designer Hayley Menzies has presented a knit collection, combining her signature elegant style with very British and more eccentric vibes. It captures the spirit of the Portobello woman: free, elegant and independent. The collection consists of ponchos, adorning themselves sometimes with faux fur collars in pastel colors and woolen capes in more traditional hues.
