Zofia Chylak has chosen to restrict her production but to do it well. The simply-named Underarm from the Polish slow fashion label is a timeless design, in elegant black croc-embossed leather. The gold-coloured zip is seriously practical on a piece that is worn crossbody or underarm thanks to its wide, long and short adjustable straps. A covetable yet affordable slice of luxury.

Collection Chylak

Founded in 2014 in Warsaw by Zofia Chylak, accessories brand Chylak is committed to creating high-end, luxury products at affordable prices, using top quality Italian leather. Its philosophy is based on two things: exclusivity and “slow fashion”, with designs produced in limited editions and stamped with a serial number in golden letters. One thing’s for sure, Zofia Chylak leaves nothing to chance. As she herself says, "It’s important for me to combine form and function, so that every bag is practical and attractive. As well as both timeless and fashionable”. And it’s a strategy that has clearly paid off, with her bags now serving as arm candy for a national and international clientèle, including many stars.

After starting out at Proenza Schouler in New York, in 2014 Zofia Chylak decided to return to her native Poland to launch the Chylak label. Just a year after its launch, Chylak hit the bigtime when it was named "Brand of the Year" at the Polish Elle Style Awards. Its couture bum bags, retro-style satchels and large leather baskets then quickly became favourites on the international fashion scene, firmly establishing Zofia Chylak as one of the hottest designers around.
