Collection Nanushka

The Nanushka brand was founded by Sandra Sandor in Budapest in 2006. From modest beginnings, the Hungarian brand expanded internationally in 2016, thanks to the support of investors and the appointment of Peter Baldaszeti, the designer's fiancé, as CEO.

In February 2018, the brand took its first steps onto the podiums of New York Fashion Week, an event that raised its profile among the public as well as fashion influencers worldwide.
As an advocate of fair fashion, the Nanushka brand (named after its founder's nickname) works with vegan leather, an alternative that Sandra Sandor prefers over more polluting and less animal-friendly options.

Sandra Sandor was born in Hungary and has always been immersed in the world of fashion. Daughter of a children's fashion designer, she often modelled for her mother between classes and quickly developed a keen interest in the industry. After graduating from the London College of Fashion in 2005, she founded Nanushka in Budapest in 2006 with the idea of creating a brand with a warm, travel-inspired feel, respectful of all cultures as well as the environment.
