Zadig & Voltaire

Zadig & Voltaire

During the Fall-Winter 2017-18 show, the Zadig & Voltaire label presented silhouettes illustrating their characteristic style. The collection was organized around the four iconic codes of the brand (military, lingerie, leather and knit) that were intertwined in their very own rock'n'cool spirit. Shoes are ultra-flat or high-heel and studded while handbags are light, as to carry us away. Thierry Gillier founded the Zadig & Voltaire brand in Paris in 1997. The label quickly became a must-have with its "casual chic" style. Initially specialized in cashmere clothing, the brand evolved, offering a trendy style and embodying a new relaxed luxury by re-editing basics in rock versions. Since 2006, a wide range of accessories is available: leather goods, clutches, belts, jewelry... Twenty years after its launch, the French brand continues to innovate and its success is now spreading around the world.

Cécilia Bönström was born in Sweden and arrived in Paris as a model at age 17. For fifteen years, she modelled for various brands before deciding to change careers in 2003. Her first wish was to work for Zadig &Voltaire, where she was hired as an assistant. Three years later, she was promoted Creative Director, a position she still holds today.
