Collection Alighieri

Behind each piece of Alighieri jewellery, you’ll find young London designer Rosh Mahtani's fascination for Dante Alighieri's masterpiece "The Divine Comedy". Through unique pieces dedicated to each poem, protective amulets and precious talismans worn on the skin, this baroque-inspired jewellery brand celebrates the inaugural journey of a young poet lost in a dark forest, carving out his path in the world.

By combining (and mastering) the technique of lost-wax casting and the art of storytelling, since 2014 Rosh Mahtani has been producing timeless designs, sublime in their imperfection, evoking purgatory, heaven and hell, but above all, filled with emotion. Take her bracelets and cuffs covered with raw gold, for example, or the necklaces and chains adorned with medallions, like her best-seller, the Lion, from which the designer will not be separated. In a portrayal of the combat between man and animal, it claims to bring confidence, strength and courage to anyone who wears it. Rosh Mahtani has been passionate about jewellery since childhood.

Back then, she collected stones and shells, and scoured the flea markets in search of hidden treasures. Fast forward a few years and this jewellery enthusiast was ranked one of Forbes’s "30 under 30" in the famous magazine. In the Divine Comedy, the Earth is fixed at the centre of the Universe. And around it nine heavens revolve. But when you're wearing Alighieri, you can bet it'll be you that's at the centre of all the attention.
