The Volon Created in 2013, Korean brand The Volon quickly became a favourite among the most discerning fashionistas. The same year, The Volon (named after Jean-Jacques Rousseau's line "La volonté de tous" - The will of all) was presented in Paris. Some of the label's designs, including the Cindy, the Trunk and the Mani, have already achieved iconic status, spotted at fashion weeks around the world.
Today, The Volon can be found at Bergdorf Goodman, Harvey Nichols and Neiman Marcus.
After studying music, Korean cellist Eujung Jang began her career in interior design by joining the family business. But the designer quickly turned her hand to accessories, designing the very first pieces of what would later become "The Volon". From her Seoul-based studio, Jang, who is mother to a little girl and inspired by the works of Gio Ponti, creates architectural handbags that are intended for all.
