Victoria Beckam

Just one season before relocating to London to celebrate her 10-year career, Victoria Beckham chose to organize a smaller show to present her Fall/Winter 2018-19 collection. This season it was staged at the James Burden Mansion, for a slightly more intimate experience where models were wandering among guests. The collection is features outerwear and elegant but easy-to-wear dresses. The vertiginous heels and corset dresses of the beginnings have disappeared. Ten years later, the Beckham woman is more relaxed, simpler, but still refined. Possibly more mature. In these coats that discreetly reveal the silhouette without compressing it, a new, sexy, more confident, more peaceful attitude has appeared, a sign of maturity. Always coquette, Victoria Beckham customers discover a new vanity bag with a mirror hidden on its flap for a quick make-up, or bend the rules with an ultra-flat banana. For women who want it all.

In 2008, Victoria Beckham launched her eponymous brand. At the time, the label’s aesthetics reflected the designer’s style, mostly bodycon dresses and pencil skirts. But as she matures, the fashion designer is slowly evolving towards a more pragmatic style, closer to the lives of modern women…and it’s a success. Three years after its debuts, the brand diversified its offer with shoes, handbags and sunglasses. The same year, the label launched its Victoria, Victoria Beckham line, and then won the "Brand of the Year" Award at the British Fashion Awards, outrunning designers such as Stella McCartney, Tom Ford or Burberry. Since then, Victoria Beckham continues to present her collections every season at New York Fashion Week, where she has now become one of the designers to follow.

Victoria Beckham first became famous as a singer of The Spice Girls. After acting as the face of a number of major brands such as Roberto Cavalli and Dolce & Gabbana, in 2004, the wife of soccer player David Beckham designed a line of jeans called VB Rocks for Rock and Republic. Two years later, the former singer created her own denim brand under the name dvb Style. Victoria Beckham launched her eponymous brand in 2008 after being mentored by the designer Roland Mouret.
