Originally from England, Tabitha Simmons likes to take inspiration from the Victorian era. This pump reinterprets the boot lace in a very feminine heeled sandal, where the eyelets and laces are in worked leather.

Collection Tabitha Simmons

This season Fall-Winter 2017 Tabitha Simmons brings us a retro-chic collection. Shoes are created with high but not-too-high heels, showing us her desire to design appropriate and comfortable models, as revealed in the Margot heels. She revisits the hiking boot, giving it feminine lines and placing them as the flagship model of the collection. The designer plays with shapes and materials where we can once again find single laces in the style of Tabitha Simmons, as well as buckles and hoops adorning various models.

Now based in New York and a true working woman, Tabitha Simmons’ desire to develop modern shoes adapted to their lifestyle is transcribed in her creations, varying shapes and heights, combining exotic skins and carefully selected leathers. We can find the natural humor of the designer in her functional and elegant collections, which she often likes to name after a woman, most often a friend. Of a rock yet floral inspirations, the Italian-made shoes are always bang on the latest trends. Constantly reinventing herself through classic models that are artfully redesigned, she combines the practicality of her creations with the perfect balance between chic and casual.

Of English origins, Tabitha Simmons grew up in Cambridge before embarking on a design course at Kingston University, from which she graduated with honors. After starting out as a model, she quickly moved towards a career as a stylist, which eventually resulted in becoming an editor at Vogue magazine. In 2009, the eponymous brand was born at Paris Fashion Week. Following its launch, collections were met with great success and benefitted from prestigious awards, such as the "British Fashion Award" and the "CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Award”. Building on its success, the brand is now worn by most celebrities and sold worldwide.
