Once again, the Gas Bijoux brand's Fall-Winter 2017-18 collection features feathers, stones, pendants and decorated pearls. This season the Marseille label reinvented their most iconic jewels, earrings and bracelets, but also their necklaces.
André Gas began creating his first charms in 1968, which he sold on the beach. Three years later, the Gas Bijoux brand opened its first store in Saint-Tropez, the beginning of success. The designer then expanded his offer. In 1988, he presented his first rock crystal necklaces, irresistible jewels that have contributed to the brand's reputation. Five years later, the Marseille brand opened its first boutique in Paris. Many other shops opened around the world: in Italy, Japan and the United States. At the end of the 90s, André Gas’s children, Olivier and Marie, joined the company. The brand continued to expand by diversifying its offer. Renowned for its high-end fashion jewelry, in 2006, the family label launched a fragrance called "Ensoleille-moi" and made a move towards high-end jewelry with the "Serti" line (made of semi-precious stones) in 2014.
André Gas graduated from the Beaux-Arts in engraving in 1966. In the late 60s, he began to create jewelry, the foundation of the Gas Jewelry brand. A few years later, he opened his first shop in Saint-Tropez, then many others around the world. Since the end of the 90's, the patriarch has been working with his children Olivier and Marie. Olivier is Managing Director. Marie is Creative Director. Originally a lawyer, she became a buyer after a trip to New York in the early 2000s, and while working in the family business, she founded By Marie, an e-shop and a chain of stores with a unique selection of ready-to-wear clothes, accessories, candles and jewelry.
