For the Fall/Winter 2017-18 season Hélène Zubeldia is keeping things simple. Once again, the designer couldn’t resist the temptation of Swarovski crystals, which she mounts on gold bracelets, necklaces and super-shiny earrings. She also uses rhodium for thinner designs that are easier to wear daily. Day or night, discreet or extrovert, Hélène Zubeldia has imagined designs for all women this season. In 1997, Hélène Zubeldia launched her eponymous brand. At the time, the designer (who worked in the largest fashion houses in Paris), created jewelry dresses, hybrid designs where accessories closely met ready-to-wear to become one. Her creations were a success, but seven years later, in 2004, the designer decided to work on jewelry only. A new aesthetic mixing Swarovski crystals, glass, pearls and leather was born.
Hélène Zubeldia started at Chloé after graduating from Studio Berçot. She then joined the Maison Lanvin Prêt-à-Porter studio, before collaborating in the foundation of another renowned French label: Vanessa Bruno. In 1997, Hélène Zubeldia launched her first jewelry dress collection under her eponymous brand. From 2004, the jewelry designer decided to focus exclusively on accessories.
