Laurence Dacade

For her Fall/Winter 2017-18 collection, Laurence Dacade has been thinking big. This season, the luxury shoe designer offers an eclectic and original line, with pumps, boots, platform sandals and even derby shoes. And the French designer did not just use a minimal palette for her creations, she had fun with nuances: yellow flirts with burgundy, blue or black and embossed flower embroidery meets colored Houndstooth prints. A cheerful and feminine collection. Discover Laurence Dacade shoes available on the MONNIER Frères website.

Laurence Dacade founded her luxury shoe brand in 2003. The shoe designer had already been working with major fashion brands such as Chanel, Kenzo, Givenchy, Zadig & Voltaire and Nina Ricci for many years. Her wish? Create feminine and timeless shoes that are also, and above all, comfortable. Her signature? A small rhinestone, like a luxurious mole, that she adds on the heel of all her creations.

As far as she can remember, Laurence Dacade admits to having always been obsessed with shoes. However, she only realized she wanted to make it her profession a few years later. After studying art history, she started shoemaking, curious to learn everything about shoes, so she could then build them at best. As soon as she graduated, she began working with big fashion Houses before founding her own brand in 2003.
